Usually, Barbie-Q the piglet is very modest, but this time it had to show itself!
Barbie-Q, the pig from Vancouver, recently surprised her family after being caught on surveillance cameras, protecting her animal friends from a bear.
The pig’s owner, Crystal Walls, and her husband were away with their four dogs at the time. Normally, the dogs would protect the animals, but since they were absent that evening, Barbie-Q took on the responsibility. And just in time, as the bear unexpectedly broke into the enclosure!
In the video, Barbie-Q attempts to drive the animals back for their safety and charges at them to keep them at a safe distance from the bear. She then turns back to the bear and confronts it.
The family learned about the wild animal from a neighbor who noticed the broken fence. They immediately rushed home and were relieved to find all the animals unharmed. But when they reviewed the surveillance footage, they were shocked by what they saw!
Mr. Walls said it was incredible to see Barbie-Q so brave, a true superhero! He also mentioned that she is usually quite shy and afraid of goats.
See for yourself how bravely Barbie-Q fought the wild animal!
