The raccoon attempted to leave the house through the second-floor window but got scared of the height.
In the town of Steamboat Springs, USA, a brave bear decided to break into a house. His actions were captured on camera as he attempted to jump out of a second-floor window, accidentally trapping himself in one of the bedrooms.
Neighbor Heidi Hanna filmed the intruder and called the police for help when she realized that the residents were not home.
However, the animal simply wanted to quickly escape back into the woods! The large bear made several attempts to jump down to the ground but seemed to be too high up. So he had no choice but to retreat back into the bedroom until he was later rescued by authorities.
The bear descended quite civilized—using the stairs. However, he didn’t want to leave through the door and instead opted for a first-floor window. Once he exited the house, he immediately fled into the forest.
Homeowner Ryan Macfarlane was at work when he learned that a wild animal had entered his residence. He explained that the bear ate the pork cutlets he had prepared for dinner that evening, grabbed some snacks from the pantry, and knocked over some plants.
Fortunately, he didn’t cause any damage to the furniture or walls.
