But his work ethic left much to be desired!
This week, a team of installers from American Plate Glass company was working at a construction site in New Hampshire when a very unexpected “new employee” decided to join their ranks.
The company owner, Mindy Stark Scott, was returning to the office when she received a FaceTime call from one of her employees at the construction site. He wanted to inform her that a “potential team member” had taken their truck… Along with the call, he sent her a video.
“I ask, ‘Is that a bear? Is that a damn bear?'” Scott recounts. “None of us could believe that there was a bear rummaging around in the truck.”
Calmly extending one paw out of the window, the bear seemed to assume the role of an observer, attentively watching the progress of the construction work. As it turned out, it was merely a distracting maneuver!
“Between the seats, there were two lunch boxes,” Scott recounted. “The bear opened the lid and pulled out a bag of nuts and berries.”
Of course, the new employee ate everything!
Eventually, the construction workers gathered the courage and with a few waving gestures, managed to drive the bear away.
“He jumped out of the truck, walked a few meters away, and decided to take a nap,” Scott said. “My team continued working until the end of the day.”
Strangely enough, aside from the stolen food, the bear didn’t leave any damages behind at all. Not even a scratch!
