A dog from the United States made it into the Guinness World Records for having the longest tongue.

The length of the animal’s tongue measures 12 centimeters.

The Labrador and German Shepherd mix named Zoe has earned the honor of being included in the Guinness World Records.

Zoe has the longest tongue among currently living dogs, measuring 12.7 centimeters in length.

Metairie Seddighi and Drew Williams adopted Zoe when she was only 6 weeks old, and the residents of Louisiana, USA immediately noticed the unusually long tongue of the puppy.

Overall, Zoe leads a typical and happy dog’s life. She is very friendly, and anyone passing by on the street can pet her.

However, Seddighi and Williams warn people that their well-behaved companion can get overly excited and lick a new acquaintance. In such cases, one would need to clean up saliva for quite some time.
