What foods should not be fed to domestic cats to avoid harming their health?

Food that “kills” your pet.

Pets have always been an integral part of many cultures. Some societies have sincerely embraced the companionship of furry and tail-wagging friends at home, such as cats, dogs, guinea pigs, hamsters, and more. However, it is the feline family members that have captured the hearts of a significant portion of humanity. Therefore, the absence of a cat at home is often seen as an exception rather than the norm. But despite the prevalence of cats in households, not everyone knows how to properly care for them, especially when it comes to their diet.

That’s why we will discuss the types of food that are harmful to the health of domestic cats. Firstly, it is important to exclude all “raw” food from the cat’s diet, especially raw meat and fish. The reason is simple: they may contain numerous parasites, bacteria, and other harmful substances that can easily harm the cat’s health.

Additionally, it is not advisable to feed cats eggs because they can also be susceptible to salmonella. Moreover, the biotin found in eggs does not provide any benefits for cats and can disrupt their metabolic processes.
