The bear was lucky: Nevada firefighters rescued a stranded sloth stuck in a tree.

Currently, the animal is doing well.

Firefighters from Reno, Nevada, had to rescue a bear in a delicate situation. The bear had climbed up a tree and got stuck there, afraid to come down on its own. However, the firefighters, called by local residents, didn’t allow the bear to stay in the leafy trap for too long.

They reached the animal with the help of a ladder, tranquilized it to calm it down, and compelled it to descend. The bear safely landed on a stretched tarpaulin below. Veterinarians examined the animal, and shortly afterward, it was transported away from the city and released back into the wild.
