Decided to cool down: the bear felt hot and bathed in a dirty puddle.

This little bear decided to have a spa day!

It’s not easy being a bear! Just imagine how challenging it is for bears to live in hot weather with their thick fur. That’s probably why some animals find places where they can relax.

Recently, employees from Colorado’s Roxborough State Park shared camera footage showing a wild bear plunging into a muddy puddle. It seems like it’s their very own spa! The temperature in the region has been consistently rising, so the cool water was evidently much appreciated.

“He’s living his best life,” wrote one of the commentators. We agree! The cool water probably helped the bear cool down and relax at the same time. It’s hard to judge him, even despite the muddy puddle, because self-care is a crucial part of a happy and healthy life, even for bears.
